in the architecturally acclaimed Wieden + Kennedy Building in the Pearl
District of northwest Portland, Oregon, the Widney Moore Gallery showcases
contemporary, one-of-a-kind and limited edition wearable art, hand-crafted
jewelry and textiles for interiors that have been designed and created by
leading artists working in America and around the world. The work represented, whether for the body, the home or the work environment, is elegant, timeless, beautiful created to express a persons individuality through exquisite craftsmanship, artistry and design. The understated, dramatic space, designed by GGLO Architecture and Interior Design, Seattle, honors the work of such prestigious textile artists as Junichi Arai, Jean Cacicedo, Randall Darwall, Tim Harding, Ana Lisa Hedstrom, Chunghie Lee, Chris Triola, and jewelers Robert Ebendorf, Sandra Enterline, Arline Fisch, Reiko Ishiyama, John Iversen and Petra Class. The representative artists have variously received National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships and are Fellows and Trustees of the American Craft Council. Their work is included in numerous museum collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and American Craft Museum, New York, The DeYoung Museum, San Francisco and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
